Arriving in a LCS near you, issue #1 of Batman: The Dark Knight.
Picked up a copy today, to help celebrate the New Year's Eve festivities. Which will consist of sitting on the couch watching too much TV, mostly.
The series is written and drawn by David Finch. I didnt know much about him, but have found that he just signed an exclusive deal with DC Comics in January. Previous works include X-Men and Avengers, as well as Cyberforce over at Top Cow.
I give the first issue a 4/5 review score. Artwork is top-notch, however I dont really care for a fanged Penguin....seems a little silly. Finch's portrayal of Killer Croc was very humanizing for the character, far from Jim Lee's style for the green skinned monster.
